Have any of you heard of HGTV? I am sure everyone is thinking of course! In their minds right now, HGTV is one of my husbands and I’s favorite channels to watch. As you know on HGTV there are tons of shows dedicated to restoring old houses, they take something old and make it shiny and new again, well this same idea about restoration is what God wants to do for us.
Let’s begin with the definition of restoration; restoration is the process of returning something to its original condition by repairing it. Darkness is all around us, and it tries to weaken and corrupt us, and God’s aim is to bring light back into people’s lives. Gods plan was to make us like His son Jesus, in Genesis 1:26 it says “And God said, Let us make man in our image…” How powerful is that verse! We were made in Gods image, and when you really think about that its life changing. One of the things we can do to be like Jesus is to be a servant, after all Jesus did call himself a servant, and he is the greatest example of servant. Having a servants heart means to put Gods will first, to not let status or position get in the way of serving. So all of that to say we are here to serve God, not money.
Our vision is to empower, restore, spread the word, and bring truth by serving God and others through love. At the top of the page you will see our slogan “Spoken Restoration” and under it you will see the image of love’s sound file, meaning the picture that you see is the word love spoken and visually captured, which is what this is all about. We have the power to change the world and the time for change is now. Speaking a positive word is the beginning of change; as it says in Matt 21:22, “in all things, you shall ask in prayer, you shall receive.”
